A hands-on muscle testing workshop

Ask Your Body

A hands-on muscle testing workshop. Bring 10 things from your kitchen, like a few favorite foods, your vitamins, or the cooking oil you reach for most. You'll learn how to ask your body about each one, test all 10 with me guiding you, and leave with every answer written down.

Sound familiar?

You've tracked everything else.

Most of us have followed somebody's plan. Eat this. Skip that. Take these.

Every one of those plans came from outside.

"I've tracked calories. Points. Macros. I have never once tracked how I felt after I ate something."

The fix

Your body has been answering the whole time.

This workshop is where you practice asking.

We start with something you already know, your own name, so you can feel what a yes is like for you. Then you ask about the things on your kitchen table, one at a time, and write down what you notice.

The hour

What you'll do in an hour

01

Find your yes and your no

We start with things you already know, like your own name, so you can feel what a yes is like for you.

02

Learn to ask a clean question

One item, one question, and how to keep your own wishes out of it.

03

Test your 10 things, live

Coffee, bread, the vitamin you've taken for years, whatever you bring. I'll walk you through each one.

04

Write it all down

Your Ask Your Body sheet holds every answer and how sure you felt.

05

Time for your questions

Anything that came up while you were testing, ask me. I'll answer before we wrap up.

06

Leave with the Body Awareness Tracker

Use it with the things you eat, drink, and take every day, so you can start connecting the dots between what goes in and the side effects you've been living with.

Is this you?

Who it's for

Come if
  • You're curious about muscle testing, or you've tried it and weren't sure
  • You'd rather learn to read your own body than follow one more plan
  • You'd love a fun, hands-on hour where you actually try it, not just hear about it.
This one isn't for you if
  • You want a list of what to eat and someone to tell you exactly what to do. We're here to find your own answers.
  • You're looking for a quick fix. This is a skill you'll keep practicing long after the hour.

Your Trail Guide

Hi, I'm Monica.

I'm a Trail Guide. I help people notice what their body is telling them and practice trusting it.

Food is a great place to start. It's where you learn to hear your body and begin to trust what you notice.

There are many ways to listen to your body. Muscle testing is the one I keep coming back to — it’s simple, practical, and once you learn it, you can test foods right in your grocery aisle.

I run a small 8-week group called Ahead of the Bell Curve. Many of the people in it come back for a second, third or fourth round.

Straight answers

Why $20?

It keeps the room to people who'll actually try it. You'll get a full hour of practice and your notes to keep, plus the Body Awareness Tracker after the workshop.

What do I need to bring?

10 things from your kitchen or cupboard (foods, drinks, spices, supplements), a pen, and a glass of water. Your Ask Your Body sheet comes in your confirmation email.

I've never done this. Is that okay?

Yes. We start from the very beginning.

Do I need a partner?

No. You'll test on your own, and I'll guide you through every step.

Do I need to be on camera?

It's hands-on, so being on camera can help. If you'd rather keep your camera off, that's perfectly fine too.

What if I don't feel anything?

That happens, and it's normal. We practice on easy things first, and you'll leave knowing how to keep practicing at home.

Can I test my medications?

Let's practice on foods and everyday items. Anything prescribed is a conversation for you and your doctor.

Will there be a replay?

Yes. Come live if you can, because the practice is the point.

Is there anything for sale?

Near the end, I'll share a little about Ahead of the Bell Curve, in case you'd like to keep going. It takes about seven minutes, and the hour stands on its own.
